In the early years of the next millennium the impact of internet-based technologies will radically change our existing ways of working between organisations and with their customers and trading partners. Relationships will change in unexpected ways and new skills and capabilities will become critical for success.

Numerous surveys have already addressed such technical issues such as internet usage and its rate of growth, as well as the technologies being used. This survey is primarily concerned with the business, organisational and personal issues arising in this new world and seeks to identify:
