The Organisational and Personal Impact of
e-Business
In the early years of the next millennium the impact of
internet-based technologies will radically change our existing
ways of working between organisations and with their customers and
trading partners. Relationships will change in unexpected ways and
new skills and capabilities will become critical for success.
Numerous surveys have already addressed such technical issues
such as internet usage and its rate of growth, as well as the
technologies being used. This survey is primarily concerned with
the business, organisational and personal issues arising in this
new world and seeks to identify:
"Which competencies will be essential for organisations
and individuals to thrive in an era dominated by internet business
methods and technologies?
