Define user training requirements
for computer system implementation Aims
Atticus designed and built a training programme for 400
people across Britain as part of the introduction of a £multi-million computer system. An
Atticus Enterprise Map was produced to identify the training requirements.
Approach
- Built a 'as will be' Enterprise Map, with a strong focus on
process and roles, through a series of workshops and interviews.
- Defined training programme for roles
- Linked 'roles' to individual names
- Planned and delivered training programme

Benefits
- Training course was designed with a clear understanding of
the different roles and different training requirements
- Individuals training requirements were accurately met in an
efficient and effective manner.
- The customer gained an additional benefit since the impact
of the system on the business processes had not been clearly understood which resulted in
some process modification before the system went live.
