OUR TEAMS, CONSULTANTS AND
WAYS OF WORKING
Our highly skilled project teams and individual
consultants maximise the value you can obtain from Atticus' uniquely visual methods
and techniques. Atticus People are professional consultants and project managers with
considerable experienced and 'practitioner' knowledge of their discipline. However, even
the most senior consultant first has to serve as an 'apprentice' on an evaluation project
with an established Atticus team.
Then as soon as people do join, we add training and development both in our proven methods
and the customer renowned Atticus 'Housestyle'.
This ensure our teams are skilled, knowledgeable and:
 |
Open and Participative, to generate confidence and positive relationships
at all levels
|
 |
Happy to transfer knowledge, so the work can be continued by your own
staff after we leave
|
 |
Results focused, so quick wins encourage progress to major returns
|
 |
Multi-disciplined, so we can take a cross-functional, holistic approach
and offer our services across a range of industries
|
 |
Mutually interdependent, so the success of your project becomes more
important than the success of any one individual

AEM
TEAMS |
Teams
that build Atticus's Enterprise Maps consist of a complex mix of technical, business and
people skills. Usually consisting of 3 people, they come equipped with the information
gathering, validation and computer modelling expertise that has made Enterprise Mapping
the uniquely pictorial approach for visualising end-to-end business operations.
AEM Teams usually work at a clients site for a period of between one and a maximum of
three months, often with Client staff as joint team members. |

SENIOR
CONSULTANTS/ FACILITATORS
|
Working
with senior executive and management teams in major corporations around the world has
honed the skills of our senior consultants to help draw out and test the right visions and
strategies that will determine your future. Whilst we use world renowned facilitation
methods such as SEE MAPPING, Atticus consultants have the confidence and flexibility never
to 'straightjacket' a workshop.
Strategic Planning Workshops, with between 6-16 participants, normally last 2 days and are
preferably held away from the participant's working site.
Action and Creative Planning Workshops use a wide range of creative and visual techniques
and can last from one half to two days, either off site or in a suitable on-site location. |

|
PROJECT
MANAGERS/ PROJECT DIRECTORS |
For
assignments of more than a few days, a senior member of Atticus is assigned to the role of
Project Manager to ensure that there is a single, clear point of contact, and that the
Atticus team are properly supported and monitored. Atticus Project Managers also play a
very active part in delivery of the project and are personally responsible for any client
staff seconded into the Atticus team.
Project Managers can also be called upon to provide Project Planning, Administration and
Organisation services for teams comprised entirely of your own Staff. |

ATTICUS
METHOD OF WORK |
We
usually prefer to work to fixed budgets and pre-defined proposals which leave you in
control. Wherever possible, we agree in advance the desired outcomes of the project and
the quantified results. Projects of over three months duration are usually broken into
discrete phases with clear budgets and deliverables pre-defined for each stage. |
|
|
Atticus has undertaken client projects in
many parts of the world and can draw on an extensive international network of associate
consultants if particular language or cultural skills are necessary.
